How to Set up the printer on your Macbook

Calling Tech Support IS an option!

You can call tech support for help installing the printer correctly on your macbook. Even though the company says there is a charge, Serenity does have contracted tech support, so don’t worry about it!

If you get stuck on a step, or just don’t want to do it yourself, give them a call.

Step 1: Install Mac Driver

Install the file titled “bizhub_C554_C364_109.pkg”

The installer will open. Click continue and enter your password when prompted. Click continue until it is done.

Step 2: Install Printer on Computer

Open Printers & Scanners from the settings menu

Click the “+” in the printer & Faxes Menu to add a new device

At the top left of the “Add” screen, select “IP”

In the option “Address” Type

In “Name” type Serenity Office Printer

In “Use:” click Select Software

Search for & Select “Konica Minolta Bizhub C284e PS” (Make sure it’s the right one!)

Click ok

Click Add

Close out of that menu

Step 3: Create Preset through Print Menu

Open any document (pdf, word, etc)

Click Print

If the screen looks like this, click Show Details

Now you should see this:

In the drop down menu labeled “Preview,” select “Output Method”

Check the box labelled “Account Track”

In the new box, leave department blank. In Password, type in your 4 digit code. Select “Save settings” if you are the only one using this computer.

Click ok

Back in the Print Menu, In the drop down menu labeled “Presets” Select Save Current Settings as Preset”

Now you are ready to print!

**Make sure to change the settings to black and white if you do not need color (It’s much less expensive.)
